Aikido - Kokikai Aikido Sydney Australia. University of New South Wales Kokikai Aikido offers aikido martial arts training for the public and UNSW students. Maruyama Sensei was originally sent to the United States in 1966 by the Aikikai Hombu. He taught in the US for many years. When Koichi Tohei Sensei left Aikikai to found Ki-Aikido, Maruyama Sensei followed him. This was consistent with Japanese martial arts tradition, because he was a direct student of Tohei Sensei. Maruyama Sensei separated from Ki-Aikido in 1986 to found the Kokikai organization.

Aikido Yoshinkan Brisbane Dojo
Aikido Yoshinkan is great school if you are interested in Aikido or just trying new martial art. Personally, it has a good balance between self defence, finiteness, discipline and fun.Dojo is operating in West End for more than 20 years and has classes for kids and adults. Family friendly environment, daily schedule (except Sunday) and monthly gradings will challenge beginners and seasoned martial arts practitioners alike. Give Aikido Yoshinkan a try if you are on the lookup for something to do with your kids or by yourself.

Aikido Yoshinkan Brisbane Dojo
Aikido Yoshinkan Brisbane dojo has been a part of my life for over 2 years now. From the very beginning I was welcomed to learn the martial art from a true Master in Aikido, Sensei Mori Shihan, who shares his wealth of knowledge and a lifetime of training with his students. The techniques taught in the dojo are extraordinary and the fitness one can attain by participating is second to none. It is an honour to train and learn from Sensei and the many supportive black belts who attend the dojo :)

Aikido Yoshinkan Brisbane Dojo
As a security officer, the bigger body size is definitely an advantage (I only weigh 73kg which is rather light compared to my colleagues,) I rely on the practical Aikido self defence techniques I have learnt whenever the skills of controlling aggressive patrons were required.Mori Sensei teaches us practical techniques (self defence) against punches, kicks and weapons which are absolutely effective. I seek his advise for some if scenarios" time to time for my work and he always instructs me how to use the techniques swiftly against any situations.Mori Sensei not only teaches physical techniques

Melbourne Budo Academy
Melbourne Budo Academy was founded by Jon Marshall Shihan in 2010 with a mind to open a dojo that fully embraced other Martial Arts such Judo , Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Shinkendo and Kali in Unison with his own teaching contributions as lifetime practitioner and promoter of Yoshinkan Aikido, Globally . He maintains strong connections to Japanese Yoshinkan Honbu dojo where he completed the Senshusei course and IGRAF who have both honoured him with the title of Shihan. See singaporebudo.com.The reins were recently passed to new owners who fully adopt his approach and both are competent martial artists across several disciplines . I’m honoured to have been a part of this journey.
