Charging a premium price for pinebark mulch and it's full of rubbish. I don't normally use this soil yard and won't going forward.

I bought two loads of gravel on the weekend and the service was excellent. I have been a customer there for over 10 years and don't need to go anywhere else as the range is very good.

Bought a load of Lawn Sand ready to top dress over the long weekend but it was so contaminated, including rocks, what looked like crushed pieces of asphalt dirty lumps of heavy clay and even rusty fencing wire, it was unusable. Cost me $19 initially and $40 plus two hours to get of, before finding a yard in bibralake (exceptional quality), that was open on the long weekend.Emailed them the complaint but got nothing, which gives you a good indication that they don't give a, about their customers. This place runs inspite of how hopeless it is.

Phoned Riverside yesterday to seek advice and price of packing sand for a large filling job of two concrete ponds.Shane gave me the time to explain the job ahead of me to him and provided me options with expert advice to utilise existing materials, thus missing out on a possible large order (approx $600 -$800) for himself.Much appreciated advice Shane, and rest assured of a soon to be new customer to your business over summer and the word spread across Ringwood North and beyond .

During lockdown we decided to redevelop a large part of our front garden and most of our backyard. Riverside Sand and Soil were recommended and we decided to give them a go. We are extremely happy with Shane's service, products and pricing. Shane has provided us with great advice and has been able to deliver whenever we have needed it (thank you Simon). We bought garden soil, lawn soil, mulch, packing sand, potting mix and fertiliser. The quality is excellent. I highly recommend Riverside Sand and Soil for any garden project, large or small. As we continue to improve our garden we will be returning for more.

I ordered some red gum firewood from Yarra Junction Harden Supplies today and right from the phone enquiry through to the actual firewood delivery the service was faultless. Bone dry, great sized pieces with some ripper sleeper logs and to top it off they even threw in some kindling. My usual supplier was $60 a cube more expensive so there was a great saving going even more local. I’m surprised to see a few recent negative comments and I did measure my stack and found if anything, there was a little extra than I ordered. I will definitely be ordering of them again in the future. Well done guys.

Your pretty average garden supplies centre. They are a bit lazy. Every time I wanted to go there to get something on the weekend, they are closed. I go to Somerton Road garden supplies instead. Better team, better selection range. Friendlier staff.
