Cajun restaurant

Simply amazing.Cool little joint run by two amazing individuals. Great customer service where you feel completely taken care of and the food was outstanding, I ordered the Rajin Cajun burger and I am only up for disappointment with other chicken burgers from now on at other establishments.Keep up the great work and don’t change.

Came here on a recommendation from a local bar, and it was epic. The best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Dirty fries swept my hangover away. Great vibes

One of our regular eateries- Some of our favourite dishes are Fried Chicken and waffle, Bleu on Black burger and beef brisket. They have a really nice selection of booze too. Last but not least, always great to see the lovely Amy!

Went here with my partner as a birthday treat. The staff immediately greeted us and was super friendly. The food was spectacular! The atmosphere was very dark western. Definitely a place to check out when in Wollongong!

The concept is fun but the food wasn’t great. The seafood were not fresh and over-cooked and the sauce was too salty (and a little bitter?) for my liking (we took the 4-mixed sauce).The service wasn’t the best either. We came during their 50% off mixed bag Monday’s deal, and the 1st thing we were told was that there was a limit of 1hr seating, which we found surprising (we stayed 2hrs though, we only got our order 45min after sitting!). The staff seemed in a hurry and weren’t very friendly.All in all, the food was still edible, and the concept was interesting. I’d never pay full-price for it though.

Staff were friendly, food was good. Parking can be tricky in the area but we managed to find a timed spot. Service was a little slow and we had to ask for the crab crackers which should have been supplied but staff were attentive once you got their attention. We ordered the share bag with the mild spice and it was a nice tang, will order the next level up next time. Bit of fun eating off the table if you are dining in.

15.09.22In response to the reply from SoCo. I merely noticed a typo in my review and edited it. I did not realise it repost the entire thing, that was not my intent, my sincerely apologise for that. The typo that I corrected was changed from refused to reused" oil. Happy for you to confirm this with Google review. I do not go "fishing" as suggested.-----Original post-----3 star rating as was very disappointed that the oil was reused/old and we arrived when the door opened.- The fried chicken that came with the waffle had the taste of old oil and covered in burnt bits which make it very bitter and unpleasant.Good waffle and the cheesesteak Po' Boy was not bad. Good service."

Delicious gumbo and comfort food that takes me back to Nawlins.Really lovely owners who also run the restaurant. Cosy, gorgeous food and extremely welcoming vibes. Would highly recommend for dinner in the Gong!

For my first time eating at this fine establishment, the service was outstanding as well as the food. Staff was friendly and attentive as if you were welcomed into their home. Definitely coming back and 10/10 would recommend.
