Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise
Tour guide was fantastic - can tell he’s passionate about the work he does, not a question unanswered, which isn’t a necessity but you can see the genuine enthusiasm he has for the work he does. Cruise was a good length and didn’t feel like it dragged on. Learned lots! Great to support local Indigenous-owned business too. Thanks for a great start to the day

Monarto Safari Park
A very large area to cover but you travel around in a bus with hop on hop off stops at areas where keeper talks etc are taking place. The bus stops at all good viewing areas and some interesting & expert commentary by a guide on each bus. We took the Lion Feed Experience which was just amazing, the keepers knowledge of these animals is so interesting & presented well.

Werribee Open Range Zoo
We had a fantastic day at Werribee Open Range Zoo today. Getting there was easy, heaps of parking and being members we were straight in. Lots of animals to see, heaps of things for the kids to do. We had a great chat with two staff members about what we had seen and the kids were also shown some cool snake skins and animals bones while waiting for the bus tour. Easy to find toilets and the cafes to get food. All in all, a great visit and we will return.

Monarto Safari Park
Recently visited the newly refurbished Monarto Safari Park with the family (2 adults, 3 kids), as was pleasantly surprised that it only cost $102 for all of us! This is cheaper than the Adelaide Zoo! The new facilities are great, the buses were comfortable, and the volunteers very helpful and knowledgeable. If I had one negative, I would say in order to see everything properly, you need to regularly get off the bus and walk around, and this can be quite tiring (especially with kids), as the walking trails to different exhibits are quite long and there isn't a whole lot of shade, especially in warmer days, while you're walking. Take plenty of water, snacks (just don't eat or drink on the buses) and sunscreen and you'll have a wonderful day.The chimpanzee exhibit is incredible. There are plenty of chimpanzees and they are so amazing and interesting to watch. I could've spent all day just at this one exhibit. The food from the cafe was great and the gift shop had plenty of reasonably priced keepsakes to purchase to remember the day.A relatively cheap, tiring day out for the whole family! We all loved it!!

Werribee Open Range Zoo
It was fun especially the Safari Tour. The tour itself is worth the ticket price so that’s something not to be missed. It started to rain halfway through our visit so we couldn’t really complete covering the whole zoo. Don’t expect to see 1000 animals there though but the gorillas are one of the highlights. Nonetheless, still a pleasant trip and great experience in an open range zoo.

Werribee Open Range Zoo
Great experience seeing the wild savannah animals on the much improved and roomy safari bus. A good range of leafy picnic areas for lunch. Be advised that the zoo no longer accepts cash for payment at any of its stores, including the ticket entrance.

Monarto Safari Park
Fantastic safari park that is worth the 55 minute drive from Adelaide city centre! Absolutely enjoyed seeing the wild animals roaming in open land compared to boring zoo enclosures!Always remember to check the bus pick-up timings to reduce walking between the animal sights if you have limited free time. Otherwise, you'll need the whole day to view the park on foot!Use the map to plan your walking trails, especially if you have favourite animals to watch. Don't miss the special keeper explanations which include feeding the animals.

Monarto Safari Park
This was a great day.. The safari is excellent and the staff and volunteers are very helpful and informative. The cafe was fresh and clean with a great variety to order from and the gift shop was excellent in variety and price. I can't wait for the new white Africa exhibition. We will definitely be back....

Mungumby Lodge
Beautiful property with hosts that do whatever it takes to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Walk to the water or creek. Fireplace set at night under the stars. Just waiting for your match. Had whole place to ourselves which was a nice post covid bonus. Rooms are new, comfortable and clean.

Werribee Open Range Zoo
The zoo is a bit far from the city center. We went in the afternoon, just in time to catch the last safari bus at 3:30pm. Sitting on an open bus and watching the wild animals up close are very nice expenrice. We also went along the trail to see other animals, so happy to see the kangaroo and koala. I recommend going in the morning so you can have enough time to explore the zoo.
