Public golf course

This is a nice course to play with some minor things you need to aware of. First this is a super busy course, very busy so you will be waiting to tee off and it will take longer than normal to finish a round, for example the group behind us walked off after 13 because they were tired of waiting for our group and the group ahead of us. The course is not in as good a condition as you would think considering the area its in simply because it gets hammered so the gardening people don't get much time. Parking is great and the golf shop is fully stocked with munchies and drinks. It is enjoyable to play though with tight fairways, bunkers and water.

One of the most affordable golf clubs in Newcastle, and still a high quality course. The driving range is state of the art and you can just rock up and tap your card to get balls dispensed. Reasonably priced drinks for after.

front desk service is appalling, went in to play 9 hole golf took about 25 mins waiting there , both women behind the counter didn't speak very good English and they had no idea what they were doing , didn't explain where I needed to go even though I stated was first time I've done the 9 hole golf , didn't give me a score card or balls and had to wait whilst they proceeded to serve 4 or 5 other customers whilst leaving me there waiting , neither of them were welcoming or smiled , and then decided to tell me I needed to buy balls as well.Need to put competent staff behind the desk who have some idea of what customer service is and actually know about the facilities and services you offer and not just hire the cheapest staff that have no idea.Extremely put off by this. And don't feel like returning , we use the tennis quite a bit and have lessons there to so this is pretty disappointing.there was another customer who looked awkward seeing I still needed help and that there front desk person just ignored it , the same customer also had the same look in there eye losing their patience with them.

Great course for a social game, not super hard or technical. Easy to walk but carts are available. There is also a driving range which is handy. Good value and very friendly staff.

I love North pine Golf Club. It’s such a great place to get onto the course if you are a beginner or for some practice or just for a great round of peaceful golf. It’s very relaxed, friendly but also has holes that test you. Matt and his team are so helpful and the place is looking amazing. Thanks for helping on my golfing journey.. PGA hear I come

One of my favourite golf courses in the world. I grew up playing on the sand scrapes here and was fortunate to play rounds with the likes of Len Trigg and Ernie Hanlon, some of the original members of this course. The recent upgrade to greens has added to the challenge of golf here and it is maintained by a dedicated group of local volunteers, led by Keith Broomfield.There are few tougher golf courses in the world when the wind is howling and the narrow fairways and post card greens reward only the most accurate of iron shots. I would definitely recommend you play 9 or 18 if you are in the local area and if you play in the competitions, then you will be welcomed with open arms and some great hospitality afterwards.I can't wait to return and bring a few mates and make a day of it and then head off for a great meal at the Beeac Pub, one of the best places to eat for miles around.

Good course and great value for money. Went in the middle of winter and the fairways and greens were in good condition considering the weather we had recently. It wasn't crowded and as a group of four, we were able to take our time without feeling rushed. Only very small criticism I have is that they don't sell beers for an after match drink. Otherwise the staff were friendly and even asked us before we teed off whether we wanted a sausage roll ready to go when we started the back 9! Will be back for sure.

Beautiful greens/course..,,However to my surprise, the facilities are filthy. Such a shame. If visible public facing areas are do dirty, I can only imagine how the back of house would be.Desperate attention to cleaning needed.

I've had the pleasure of playing this course for over 10 years now... and since it's changed hands, the past 10-12 months or so has seen improvements way above and beyond all expectations... Congrats to Matt and all the team for turning this into such a beautiful, well kept and utterly enjoyable place to play golf... Highly recommend
