I went to year 7 orientation and the teachers were really nice, school grounds were clean, I’m really excited to go there next year. :)

Bullying is 0% tolerated" However I had been there for 2 years. Staff/office didn't do much about myself or my friends being bullied heavily. Do not send your children here. Terrible experience and there is no care for students. They are more "Quantity over quality" instead of "quality over quantity". Terrible time

The school is terrible. It's Dirty, The teachers treat you like children, They overwork you, and lastly Shame You.0/10

Worst school I've ever attended. Wish there was somewhere else for my sister to attend in the area, but as she walks every day there is no alternative. I will not be sending my future students to this school, even if it means I have to move out of Drouin! Really bringing the town down.

The students here are a bit of a 50/50, it is sometimes impossible to tell if they'll be your best friends or if they'll find a way to take advantage of your kindness, although it's usually pretty easy to tell one stereotype from the other.Most teachers try their best, but I feel as though there are too many rewards and too much praise handed to the younger years instead of the older generations, especially given that many of the older students need it as much as possible. That could use some work.The environment, admittedly, isn't the best. There is litter, gum, and other kinds of filth all over the place. Although, it's easily adaptable and isn't going to effect your child's education (which is what's important).The faculty do offer the students opportunities, and a lot of those opportunities can be very fun, but some can be the opposite. It's also worth noting that school events always cater more towards the sporty side of the student population, and less so for the academic side.

They stack school council meetings with non member teachers, ban children from going to the library for first offence uniform breaches. They ban people from posting on the school facebook page if they disagree. I have been vice president of the school council 2017 & 18 and am thoroughly disgusted by the underhanded actions to avoid parent input.

Should not send your kids to dsc. Most teachers are useless, academically your child will likely not succeed. More of a socialising school rather than a school where your child will learn. Teachers don't take bullying matters seriously, will make you write a behaviour report if even and that's it. No follow ups. Care more about the wrong colour socks rather than your child's education and wellbeing.Smoking is a regular occurrence at dsc aswell as consumption of alcohol on school grounds. most students are a bad influence on others. If looking for a school around the Gippsland area would deffiantely go for Warragul Regional College or St.Pauls, Warragul. Both of my children now attend these schools having moved from drouin secondary and are excelling like never before. Both amazing schools and really show care for your child's educations. Do your kids a favour and send them some where else.

The office was not helpful for inquiries. I called about an event for my friend to confirm it was still happening and I got aggressive responses and hung up on.

For the love of god do not send your kids here, they say the don't tolerate bullying yet they will not try to fix bullying issues, the most they will do is have a chat" to the student and say it's all done with

The teachers do not care for students, kids break rules all the time yet nothing is done BC the teachers can't be bothered and they'll ignore bullying just so they don't have to write about it. One teacher in particular is awful, he taught me year 8 science and he confiscated my phone and made a big deal ab it but don't deal with students clearly bullying others. The best you get is they'll leave the classroom but not go to the office BC they don't wanna record that data. They wanna look like a good school but it's honestly one of the worst schools I've been too. The vaping has gotten completely out of hand, students will be selling them on the school property. They even make talking your kid home early a nightmare, you're not allowed to text your parent to pick you up, you have to go to the office but majority of the time the school doesn't care enough to anyway.Awful school, send your kids to Warragul for a better education, st Paul's if you want catholic stuff or even Neerim if you want a small school.
