Country house

Kids love it! Adults just as much. Watching new born lambs, hunting for yabbies, so much fresh air. Catching fish, watching dolphins and seals. Awesome pizza, many a wine around the fire pit. Comfy beds, toasty house that is larger in real life with an awesome deck. We will be back!

We had our wedding at The Fitzroy Inn in April and the whole experience was absolutely lovely. We had so many compliments from our guests on how wonderful the grounds were, and it was exactly the unique and peaceful venue we were after for our special day. John, Carol, and the team made sure we were well looked after. Thank you for your warm welcome, attention to detail, lovely rooms and your flexibility. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and it is certainly a day to remember.

Oldbury Cottage is the perfect mix of luxury and history done in a heritage style cottage that provides the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, the big tub, nice yards and outside area make this seemingly isolated retreat something special. Even though the cottage provides you with that much wanted relaxed and private feel, you are only a minute from the main street of Berrima and within 20 minutes of numerous other small towns which make this the ideal location. This was our 3rd visit and it won't be our last.

Fabulous retreat with wonderful friendly hosts who go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect! Spotlessly clean; fantastic hand made quilts on all the beds add beautiful country charm. Extremely well equipped kitchen and bar area. Plenty to do on the property as well as in Crows Nest. Perfect for our Xmas in July getaway.

Magical experience.

The whole family 8 adults 6 grandkids had a great weekend outside in summer weather. Great present for 70 y/o.

We had stayed here nearly six years ago and have come back. The property is a piece of paradise ,the property was immaculate and up to the same standard as six years ago, if you are after the best farm stay on the Sunshine Coast then look no further .Imbil is a wonderful town as well and is only two minutes away and has everthing you would need during your stay, AAA++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

What a great place for a break! Close to mountain biking, hiking, fishing and kayaking, you cannot go wrong with pet-friendly Country House Retreat. But the best part? The super-accommodating hosts! Kim & Co couldn't have been better to us and we will definitely recommend this place to friends and family alike.

We have visited many times and thorough enjoy the hospitality, quality of accommodation and enjoying the fresh air!It is suitable for kids of all ages! The variety of animals in the yard allows everyone to choose a favourite. There is a mix of domestic and farm animals on hand.The inclusion of a horse ride on a lead in the tariff is bonus - particularly for those who have had little contact with horses.Julie and Kate really want to show you the country lifestyle and have great patience in explaining the why and how for the activities. If you are lucky this may be bottled feeding some lambs (in season) or why not to walk behind a horse.Very hands on and educational if you want it to be. Please enjoy.
